Leicester v Chelsea Betting Prediction | EFL Free Bet TipPublished September 20, 2016
Dilly ding, dilly dong, it’s the League Cup, man! Come on, man! There’s plenty to be excited about when it comes to England’s secondary cup competition this week. Claudio Ranieri welcomes his former side to the King Power Stadium as Leicester duel against Chelsea.
The Italian coach is in even higher spirits than usual after watching his side pick up back-to-back 3-0 wins, one of those coming on their Champions League debut away to Club Brugges. His compatriot Antonio Conte has no European competitions to contend with so will be aiming for domestic cup runs to satisfy the appetites of Blues who are baying for silverware.
The away side are the clear favourites with the bookies and that doesn’t seem all fair on Leicester. The Premier League champions picked up four points against (an admittedly catastrophic version of) Chelsea last season and have looked solid at home in this campaign. The return of N’Golo Kante will be an interesting subplot in what should be a close game.
