Burnley v Hull Free Betting PreviewPublished September 8, 2016
It’s a battle of the promoted sides at Turf Moor this Saturday. Burnley host a high-flying Hull, who are coming off the back of their first defeat of the campaign, thanks to Manchester United whippersnapper Marcus Rashford. The home side are nursing their own wounds after being swatted aside by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, there was little resistance in that defeat.
However, they’re a different beast at home, Sean Dyche’s side. Hull know this all too well, of course. They’ve visited Turf Moor twice over the last two seasons and lost 1-0 each time. In fact, Burnley’s last five wins over Hull, home and away, have been by one goal to nil. You probably see where we’re going with this. But the Tigers are dangerous to write off.
So it should be a case of what we have we hold. If anyone manages to take the lead then they’ll defend resolutely afterwards. Since 2005, Burnley and Hull have met 18 times and in only two of those matches have both teams found the back of the net. Three cheers for clean sheets.
