Vietnamese goalkeeper lets opposition score [Video]
Goalkeeper lets opposition score. What a world we live in.
It’s very much been a week of glorified goalkeepers. First, we had pie eating Sutton United goalkeeper Wayne Shaw but now our attentions turn to Vietnamese shot stopper Nguyen Minh Nhut.
It all kicked off after the referee awarded a penalty to the hosts, as the visiting team decided to stop playing in the final moments of the game.
Their goalie, Nguyen Minh Nhut, was instructed to face the penalty, but the keeper continued to protest as he turned his back to allow the opposition score.
They conceded two more goals before the final whistle.
As a result, the Vietnamese FA decided to ban Nguyen Minh Nhut for two-years. Long An’s coach and president also received three-year bans.
If this is what football in Asia is about Wayne Rooney won’t have any difficulty breaking more records should be move anytime soon.
