VIDEO: Enzo Zidane nets on Real Madrid debutPublished December 1, 2016
Enzo Zidane, son of Real Madrid manager Zinedine, scored his first goal for the club on debut in Los Blancos’ 6-1 Copa del Rey victory over Cultural Leonesa last night.
Granted a second-half appearance in the comfortable win over the Seguna B outfit, the talented youngster delighted the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu crowd in placing a low strike into the corner of the net just 18 minutes after entering the fray.
With the score at 3-1 following goals from Mariano Diaz (2) and James Rodriguez, the 21-year-old picked the ball up on the left-hand side of midfield, exchanged passes with Martin Odegaard and Diaz, before making history in firing home on his first senior appearance for the LaLiga giants.

A promising attacking midfielder whose languid running style and excellent technical ability evokes memories of his decorated father, Enzo is a regular in Real’s Castilla team.
His 45-minute cameo showed much promise, with some already suggesting he has what it takes to follower a similar path to Zidane Sr.
On the pitch, a much-changed Real Madrid side- with Saturday’s El Clasico in mind- went on to net twice more against the relative minnows, with Dominican forward Diaz completing his hat-trick in an impressive all-round display.
