Sam Allardyce, what were you thinking?

The newly appointed England boss’s decision to omit Man United starlet Marcus Rashford from his first squad against Slovakia on Sunday, raised many eyebrows from fans, who believed the teenage sensation was exactly the added impetus the national team needed.

England’s lackluster attacking performance in Slovakia, has again led to calls for the 18-year-old to be brought back into the fold, but the striker seems to want to do his talking on the pitch rather than off it.

Instead of joining up with the senior squad, Rashford was selected for the U21 side for their European Championship qualifier against Norway U21s.

The United sensation, silenced all the doubters, by bagging an impressive hat-trick, as England ran out 6-1 winners in Colchester on Tuesday night.

After his fantastic performance, football fans took to Twitter to have their say on England’s teenage sensation.

It’s safe to say that Big Sam will probably think twice next time before leaving Marcus Rashford out again.

Marcus Rashford is simply too good for the U21's.. It's an absolute farce he wasn't included in the full squad.
