Tottenham eyeing move for £13m Barcelona forwardPublished August 23, 2016
Strikers are like buses as far as Spurs fans are concerned, you wait a long time for one to arrive, and then two come at once.
The North London side’s summer signing of Dutch striker Vincent Janssen, was the first time since 2013 that they had signed a striker, with the last being Valencia flop Roberto Soldado.
But it now appears that Spurs will look to add another forward to their ranks this summer, with reports coming out of Spain suggesting, Barcelona forward Munir could be the next player to join the Mauricio Pochettino revolution at White Hart Lane.
According to Sport, The Premier League side are seriously monitoring the youngster, and could decide to launch a bid in the final week of the transfer window.
It’s believed that both the player, and Barcelona are open to such a deal, though it’s reported that the La Liga giants would demand a buyback clause in the player’s contract.
It’s thought that the 20-year-old Spaniard would cost in the region of £13m.
Premier League sides Stoke and Everton are also thought to be keen on the Barca starlet, but Munir is apparently waiting to see if any interest from Spurs turns into a serious offer, before making up his mind about his immediate future.
