Ruthless: Ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane brlliantly trolls Theo Walcott and Arsenal after Champions League win (video)Published September 29, 2016
Love him or hate him, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane makes for a pretty entertaining pundit.
The Republic of Ireland assistant manager is known to speak his mind on TV, and say exactly what we’re all thinking.
Keane, wasted no time bringing Arsenal and Theo Walcott back down to earth, after the Gunners cruised to a 2-0 victory against Basel in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Walcott, continued his fine form this season, by bagging a brace, and post match, it seemed that everyone was waxing lyrical about the England international and Arsenal’s chances of silverware this season.
But in true Roy Keane style, the former tough tackling midfielder, had a very clear message for both Theo Walcott and Arsenal fans, telling them to simply, relax.
He said: ‘It’s took him a while to get settled. Listen he’s had a good week. The guy needs to relax. Try to play well for the next seven or eight months.
‘Tonight was a lovely game for Arsenal. When they’re in that form and have that amount of possession, they’re great to watch – they could’ve seven, eight, nine goals easily.
‘But the crunch games are still to come for them, when the cold nights come in, with half the Arsenal players with their gloves on, so I wouldn’t be getting carried away with Walcott.
