Rio Ferdinand was left frustrated by a video uploaded by Paul Pogba on Tuesday from the player’s Instagram account.

The clip featured Pogba with Jesse Lingard working on a new celebration in the dressing room of Carrington.

Ferdinand, who has been critical of Arsenal players posting selfies in the past, was unhappy with the footage considering United are not even in a Champions League position, yet these players have the neck to post giddy updates across social media.

United are currently sixth in the Premier League and, regardless of tonight’s result against Hull City, will remain outside the top four.

A fascinating discussion ensued on BT Sport as fellow pundits Steven Gerrard and Steve McManaman were also left unimpressed with Pogba and Lingard.

The BT Sport panel have a point. If you are out winning silverware no-one will blink an eyelid at posts of this nature, but when efforts are being made to get Manchester United back at the top of world football it looks silly.

Hopefully the pair grow up a little.
