Real Madrid star to be shipped out to Man United or Chelsea to fund Mbappe move
Real Madrid are ready to sell one of their star forwards to either Chelsea or Manchester United in order to fund a move for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe.
The French star has become one of the stars of world football over the past year and is now the target of the Spanish giants.
First, the club seemingly need to sell up one of their players and they have chosen Gareth Bale to be the man who would make way should they receive a suitable offer and both Chelsea and Manchester United are interested.
Since 2013, Bale has only played 56% of possible minutes because of injuries. He's been injured 17 times - 12 were hamstrings. [as] pic.twitter.com/3ZsCbZc9eV— SB (@Realmadridplace) July 16, 2017
The Express claim in their exclusive that Manchester United have held a long-term admiration of the player, with Chelsea and PSG also showing signs of a potential move in the past with the financial muscle to do so.
The former Spurs forward would certainly be welcomed back to the English top flight by either club if the chance arose after becoming extremely prolific in his final couple of seasons at White Hart Lane.
It is explained in the same report that the player could cost any club in the region of an insane £100m, more than Real Madrid signed the Welshman for when he moved in a then world-record deal.
Whether any side is willing to pay that much is yet to be seen but if Real Madrid are desperate to use any funds to complete a deal for Kylian Mbappe, it is likely that the figure for Bale could well come down as the window goes on.
