Real Madrid star hopes his teammate stays at the club
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos admits he wants midfielder Isco to stay amid speculation of a summer move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, per Sky.
The 24-year-old has been a bit-part player for Los Blancos ever since he joined the club from Malaga in 2013 and has constantly been linked with other clubs.
Manchester City and Barcelona were mentioned, but Ramos says he hopes his teammate has a future in the Spanish capital.
Speaking to Spanish TV channel Cuatro, he said: “We hope that he stays. He is very calm and happy, leaving aside everything that is being said about his future.
“He is not going to be better [off] elsewhere than he is at Real Madrid.”
