Real Madrid reportedly win race for 'new Neymar'

Reports in Brazil suggest Real Madrid have beaten Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and a host of other clubs to the £38m signing of teen sensation Vinicius Junior.

The 16-year-old burst onto the scene with Flamengo this year and has been dubbed the ‘new Neymar’.

Junior has also starred for Brazil’s U17 side and he finished as the best player and top scorer at the U17 South American Championships back in March.

Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea have also been reported as interest outfits but, according to Globo Esporte, he will join Los Blancos.

The LaLiga giants are said to have agreed on a £38m fee for the teenager and he will join once he turns 18.

Hopefully for the player’s sake Real Madrid will conduct a deal properly. Unlike Barcelona with Neymar… if you get what I’m saying. No dodgy business.
