Real Madrid outcast set to be reunited with former boss this summer
Struggling Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is set to snub Premier League interest and join up with former boss Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich, according to MARCA, via the Daily Mail.
Rodriguez, 25, has endured a tough time since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu from Monaco in 2014. He was signed when Ancelotti was in charge off the back of an impressive World Cup with Colombia, and his form has dramatically dropped since the Italian was sacked a year later.
Both his replacement, Rafa Benitez, who lasted a matter of months in the job and current coach Zinedine Zidane have failed to see the best of him, and his lack of first team action has seen him grow increasingly disgruntled in Spain.
But his talent is still undoubted and if he does decide to depart the LaLiga leaders, there will be no shortage of potential suitors.
MARCA claim both Manchester United and Italian giants Juventus are tracking his situation, but he will instead push for a move to Bayern, with Ancelotti settling in at the Allianz Arena after a tough start to his reign this season.
