The 23-year-old defender was leaving a Parisian nightclub in the early hours of the morning before being stopped by a police officer.

Apparently, the officer asked Aurier to take a breath test and step out of his Porsche Cayenne, leading to the Ivorian elbowing him in the chest.

Now Aurier has been sentenced to 2 months in prison and has also been condemned to pay €600 in damages for physical and moral injury, as well as €1,500 euros in court costs.

His sentence has not been accompanied by a warrant in court but nothing prevents the player from featuring in his next game on Wednesday in the Champions League against Ludogorets Razgrad.
