Premier League target insists he wants to stay in Serie A
Premier League target Andrea Belotti says he is focussed only on Torino and does not want to leave the club this summer, per Tuttosport, via Sky.
The 23-year-old striker, who is currently on international duty with Italy, has scored 22 goals in Serie A this season, despite Torino languishing in ninth place.
Arsenal are the latest club to be linked with him, and there are reports of a €50million buyout clause in his contract, but Belotti says he is not interested in moving.
“I want to stay at Toro,” he said.
“I dedicate it to my fans, for I am staying.”
Barcelona, Chelsea and Manchester United have also been linked with a move, but it appears they will all have to look elsewhere in order to strengthen their firepower this summer.
Arsenal’s own future is unclear as it stands, with manager Arsene Wenger’s contract running out at the end of the season. Although he has decided on his next move, he is yet to make am announcement with fans split on whether they want him to stay.
