Premier League striker blasts media speculation over his future
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has taken to Twitter to hit out at some sections of the press as speculation over his future continues to increase.
Lukaku, 23, is the Premier League’s top scorer this season with 24 goals. He is attracting interest from a number of big clubs and has confirmed he will not sign a new contract at Goodison Park.
The Belgian star joined the Toffees in 2014 from Chelsea in a £28million deal, and the Blues are amongst those interested in re-signing him.
The Sun ran a story recently claiming Lukaku will shun a return to Stamford Bridge in favour of linking up with former boss Jose Mourinho at Manchester United because of Antonio Conte’s tactics.
But the man himself came out swinging on Twitter, telling sections of the media to stay out of his business.
