Premier League star informs friends he wants to join Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku has reportedly told friends he wants to rejoin Chelsea in a staggering £100milion deal this summer, per The Telegraph.
Lukaku, 23, joined Everton from the Blues for £28million in 2014 after a successful loan spell at Goodison Park. He signed for Chelsea as an 18-year-old three years earlier but never had much of a run at Stamford Bridge.
But the Belgian has gone from strength to strength on Merseyside and is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with 24 goals.
He has recently informed the Toffees that he will not be signing a new contract, with two years remaining on his current deal. Understandably, this has sparked a lot of speculation.
A number of clubs in the UK and abroad are said to be keen on signing Lukaku, but the man himself has chosen to return to his former club.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could be in the market for a new striker with Diego Costa’s future still uncertain after a public falling out in January.
