Paolo Di Canio and Nigel Winterburn re-enacted one of the most iconic moments in Premier League history on Saturday, in North London.

The pair were taking part in the Arsenal Legends vs AC Milan Glorie charity match at the Emirates and provided a comical and nostalgic moment for the fans.

In 1998 when Di Canio was playing for Sheffield Wednesday, the Italian was sent off for a clash with Martin Keown.

The fiery former West Ham striker shoved referee Paul Alcock to the ground in disgust at his decision, leading Winterburn to berate him as he trudged off the pitch.

Eighteen years on, the pair produced a reenactment of the whole incident, with Di Canio, this time pushing Winterburn to the ground, as the former Arsenal defender tumbled to the ground in the exact same way as Alcock did eighteen years earlier.

The incident sent fans inside the Emirates into hysterics, whilst Di Canio himself also found it particularly amusing.

Take a look at this hilarious moment below.
