Neymar's potential £352m transfer to PSG is nearing completion
Neymar’s potential move to Paris Saint Germain is nearing closer and the deal could cost an astonishing £352m when his release clause is triggered and his six-year-contract is taken into account.
Reports in Spain from Marca explain that Neymar will be on a six-year contract when and if he joins PSG and will be earning a humongous £500,000-a-week to play for the French giants.
That much money coupled with a six-year long deal could end up costing PSG a total of £352 million, an incredible amount even with the crazy figures being thrown around for some players during this summer transfer window.
Marca say Neymar will sign six-year PSG deal on £500,000 a week. Total cost £352m. £196m release clause + £156m wages— Kaveh Solhekol (@SkyKaveh) July 23, 2017
Not only would it break the world record transfer that is currently occupied by Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, it would double that figure meaning that not only has the record been beaten, it has been obliterated.
This comes following a week of intense speculation in which started with just a couple of rumours and the odd report.
Now, with several high profile outlets reporting the likelihood that Neymar will leave Barcelona for PSG it is becoming increasingly likely that the player could depart this summer in an incredibly shocking deal.
Not only could it damage the reputation of Barcelona but they must also find a replacement for a player considered to be the third best player in world football.
Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho is one player that has been linked with a move to the Camp Nou while Paulo Dybala has also been mooted with a potential move.
