Napoli make audacious attempt to sign Tottenham striker Harry KanePublished August 25, 2016
Napoli have approached Tottenham over a potential move for Harry Kane, only for their advances to be rejected, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Serie A club are looking to fill the void left by Gonzalo Higuain’s departure to Juventus, and despite the arrival of Arkadiusz Milik from Ajax, they are still looking to bolster their attacking options further.
The Italian side made an ambitious enquiry to Spurs over the 23-year-old England international, but were told by the Premier League side that he is not for sale.
This transfer story is a rather bizarre one, as it never looked likely that Napoli could convince Spurs to sell their most coveted asset, or convince the player himself to swap North London for Italy.
