Mourinho identifies shock target for Manchester United
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told the club’s board to sign Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus this summer, per the Daily Express.
The Red Devils are expected to spend heavily on attacking talent this summer as they look to replace both captain Wayne Rooney and top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Rooney has found himself on the periphery of the first team this season, while 28-goal star Ibrahimovic recently suffered a serious knee injury which could put a contract extension in doubt with his current deal running out in a few weeks.
Torino’s Andrea Belotti and Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid have both been linked over the course of recent weeks, but it now appears Mourinho is looking to the Bundesliga for his primary target.

Reports in Spain suggest both Atletico Madrid and United will go head-to-head for the 27-year-old’s services in the summer, as Diego Simeone’s men prepare for the possible departure of Griezmann.
United could face a battle to lure Reus if they fail to clinch Champions League qualification this season.
