It’s safe to say that it hasn’t been a good seven days as far as Manchester United fans are concerned.

Before last weekend’s Manchester derby, Jose Mourinho’s side were unbeaten in the Premier League and looking good, with many tipping the Red Devils as possible future champions at the end of the season.

Fast forward a week, and United appear to be in somewhat of a slump following three successive defeats on the bounce.

The Reds followed up defeats against local rivals Man City, and European opponents Feyenoord in the Europa League, with a lethargic and lackluster performance, during their 3-1 defeat against Watford on Sunday.

With an abundance of talent on the pitch, including the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and world-record signing Paul Pogba, United lacked ideas, and organisation, something which is extremely unusual for Jose Mourinho side.

After Sunday’s defeat, fans took to Twitter to voice their opinions and reactions, and of course, it seems like Wayne Rooney and Paul Pogba, are the butt of all jokes on social media.

Take a look at some of the best from Twitter below.

Wayne Rooney hasn't assisted a goal from a corner in 84 Premier League games, his last vs. Cardiff City in 2013. #MUFC

Lots of stick for Mourinho, but he's actually ahead of schedule. Usually takes two seasons for his teams to play this abysmally.
