Manchester United 1-2 Manchester City Player Ratings: Kevin de Bruyne steals the show as Claudio Bravo clowns aroundPublished September 10, 2016
Pep Guardiola made it four wins from four as his Manchester City picked up a well deserved win at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
The away side had the lion’s share of possession throughout and at times were giving United a real footballing lesson.
Indeed had it not been for the foolish antics of keeper Claudio Bravo, City could have won far more comfortably.
David De Gea – 6
Didn’t put a foot wrong, could do nothing about City goals.
Luis Antonio Valencia – 7
Great going forward, improving game after game and can even cross the ball now!
Eric Bailly – 6
Didn’t have the best of games but a last gasp tackle kept Man City from netting a third.

Daley Blind – 4
Dutchman was out of position on a number of occasions, poor.
Luke Shaw – 5
Anonymous in the first half slightly less anonymous in the second, then subbed.
Marouane Fellaini – 6
Put in some strong challenges and one of the few players who didn’t constantly lose possession.
Paul Pogba – 4
Flattered to deceive. Beaten in the air by everyone but did have a couple of strong purposeful runs.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 4
Lazy as hell and unable to get in the game. Subbed at half-time.
Wayne Rooney – 6
Tried to get his side going but was largely ineffective.
Jesse Lingard – 5
Lightweight in possession and offered little.

Was lively from the second he came on as a half-time sub but was in and out of the game from then on.
Ander Herrera – 5
Didn’t do much
Anthony Martial – 5
Did even less
Claudio Bravo – 3
Horrendous. Guilty of mistake that led to first goal and almost hit self-destruct button late in the first half. Could have got a red card for challenge on Rooney in the second half.

Good game from the Frenchman both in defence and attack.
John Stones – 7
Calm and composed on the ball and really beginning to blossom at City.

Argentine rarely put a foot wrong and had Zlatan Ibrahimovic in his back pocket.
Aleksandr Kolarov – 8

David Silva – 8
Spaniard oozed class in the centre of the park.
