Manchester United star takes to Twitter to clarify future
Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has taken to Twitter to deny rumours linking him woth a move to Arsenal.
Martial, 21, has been at United since being made the world’s most expensive teenager in 2015 when he moved from Monaco for an initial £36million.
But his career at Old Trafford has stagnated since Jose Mourinho arrived last summer. Despite top scoring in his debut campaign, he rarely got a chance to play as a central striker.
Reports have begun to emerge suggesting Martial could leave in order to fund incoming transfers, and Arsenal had been linked with a £40million swoop.
Arsene Wenger is known to be a huge fan of Martial, and could be in the market for at least one attacking player with Alexis Sanchez being linked with a summer exit.
