Manchester United plot sensational swoop for City stalwart
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is willing to let Joe Hart join rivals United if David De Gea signs for Real Madrid, per the Daily Star.
Hart, 30, has been out of favour at City since Pep Guardiola took over last summer. The England goalkeeper even spent last season on loan at Serie A side Torino.
While his replacement Claudio Bravo struggled at the Etihad Stadium, the arrival of Benfica’s Ederson has pushed Hart further down the pecking order.
Guardiola has not changed his mind on Hart, who he doesn’t believe is good enough with the ball at his feet, and will look to sell him this summer.
Most managers would not want to sell to a domestic rival, let alone a local one, but that is exactly what City are prepared to do with Hart.
Jose Mourinho is eyeing up a replacement for De Gea, with Real Madrid looming for the Spaniard.
