Manchester United expecting to finalise world class transfer by Thursday
Manchester United are looking to complete the deal for Alvaro Morata before the end of the week, and expect to announce him on Thursday.
The forward has been looking to leave Real Madrid this summer, and is determined to make the move to Manchester United early enough to play a part in their pre-season and make sure he fits in with the players on and off the field.
Now, it seems a fee of around £60 million has been agreed between Real Madrid and Manchester United, with Morata and Jose Mourinho keen to push through the personal side of things in terms of the deal.
The player is set to have a medical and see the deal made public this week, with growing reports that Jose Mourinho is angered by the lack of transfer activity Ed Woodward has managed to complete this summer.
Nemanja Matic, Fabinho and Ivan Perisic have already been mentioned, and it seems that the longer time goes on, the further away the names become, with a transfer looking less likely.
After Morata officially signs, Mourinho will then be expecting a flurry of names and a real assault on the summer market.
