Man United legend lays into the Pogba brothers
We can all accept that the Manchester United dressing room was totally different when Roy Keane was captain.
There was no selfies, dabbing or players dancing around like blue-arsed flies.
The players had little time for jokes because they were busy delivering Premier League titles and competing in Europe.
Roy Keane, vocal as ever, appeared again on ITV for analysis of European football. On Thursday night they covered Manchester United’s 3-0 win over Ligue 1 outfit St Etienne.
The targets this time around were the Pogba brothers: Paul and Florentin. Keane felt their behaviour went over the top.
Keane: “The boy Pogba seems a bit of a free spirit and a bit of a character, but I think it was a little over the top tonight, before the game, half time.
“They’ve spoke to each other more tonight than I think I have spoken to any of my brothers in the last five years!”
The Republic of Ireland Assistant Manager added: “All this stuff before and after the game, a lot of nonsense, that’s the modern player I am afraid”.
