Liverpool star refuses to ignore Barcelona rumours
Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has admitted that he is flattered to be linked with a summer move to Barcelona, per Sky.
The Brazilian playmaker, 25, has been in fine form for the Reds this season, inspiring the club to the brink of Champions League qualification by topping the club’s ‘goal involvement’ charts.
Two goals and an assists in Sunday’s 4-0 win over West Ham took his tally to 12 and 7 respectively, seeing him overtake Sadio Mane.
Links to Barcelona are nothing new, with his friend and international teammate Neymar particularly vocal in saying he should move to the Camp Nou.
And Coutinho has done little to downplay the speculation by openly welcoming the reports.
“It always makes me happy when I’m talked about. It’s good that a great club, like Barcelona, have interest in you because it’s recognition of the hard work you’re doing.
“Barcelona are one of the best teams in the world. Until now nothing has come directly to me, because if there’s anything it goes through my agent.
