Liverpool monitoring 23-year-old French striker
Jurgen Klopp is keeping tabs on Bordeaux striker Gaetan Laborde.
Laborde scored six goals in 36 Ligue 1 outings during the last term and only signed a new deal in May with his contract now not set to expire until 2020.
But according to reports in France, that has not stopped Liverpool pursuing an interest in the 23-year-old goalscorer.
Klopp needs to add to his squad if Liverpool have any chance of competing for silverware next season, especially since they’ve qualified for the Champions League.
Liverpool have already expressed interest in signing Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, but recent reports see them in talks with Sporting Lisbon 22-year-old winger Gelson Martins.
It looks like Klopp has set out to improve his attacking options this summer, and Laborde could fit the bill.
