Liverpool eye shock move for unwanted Premier League superstar

Liverpool are set to offer Joe Hart an escape route from Manchester City by launching a £20million bid for him in the summer, per The Sun.

Hart, 30, saw his successful spell at City cut short last year when new boss Pep Guardiola allowed him to join Torino on loan.

Guardiola wanted a goalkeeper who was stronger with the ball at his feet, and while he has been criticised for his treatment of Hart, there seems no way back for the England man at the Etihad Stadium.

Jurgen Klopp has apparently agreed to sanction a deal for Hart, who was surprisingly forced to depart English football, with both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius failing to convince in goal for the Reds.

Hart’s replacement, Claudio Bravo, has struggled to step up in his absence. There have even been suggestions that City will again look for a goalkeeper this summer.

As for Hart, it is likely Torino will be keen to make his loan move permanent, but now Liverpool appear to be in the driving seat.
