Liverpool and Chelsea join Man City, Arsenal and Real Madrid in chase for star
Chelsea and Liverpool have joined Manchester City, Arsenal and Real Madrid in the race for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.
The young star is the most coveted player of the summer, and it seems that he’s wanted by most of the top clubs in Europe. Manchester United may even start looking at him after the new contract Antoine Griezmann signed with Atletico Madrid, to take he deal to 2022.
Monaco have already turned down bids for Mbappe, one from Arsenal of £87 million, and Real Madrid are also believed to have offered upwards of £100 million to land the player.
Chelsea have all the riches any club could want when it comes to attracting a player, yet it may be Liverpool who seem more attractive to Mbappe, as they can offer him the playing time he wants.
Mbappe himself has claimed that his next destination will be dictated by the club who can offer him the most time on the field, and with Jurgen Klopp willing to build his side around him, it could be that a move to Merseyside may be the ideal option for Mbappe.
