Manchester United strike quickly to take control against Leicester
Manchester United appear to be piling the misery on Leicester City after two goals in three minutes before half time put them well in control at the King Power Stadium, before making it three after the break.
Leicester, who were crowned champions in May, find themselves in a real relegation dogfight and it isn’t clear what is the reason behind it.
A 42nd minute strike from the in form Henrikh Mkhitaryan was followed by a second by striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Juan Mata added a third on 49 minutes.
Pressure has been mounting on boss Claudio Ranieri in recent weeks and losing his job is not out of the question for the Italian, especially considering the squad is more or less the same to last year.
New signings have arrived but only N’Golo Kante departed, leaving fans scratching their heads as the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have faltered in 2016/17.
