Juventus to use Pogba cash for big-money Tottenham raidPublished August 1, 2016
Juventus are readying a move for Tottenham playmaker Christian Eriksen with the Italian side ready to spend a chunk of the money they expect to make from the sale of Paul Pogba to Manchester United according to the Daily Express.
24-year-old Danish international Eriksen earns a relatively paltry £30k a week at present and deserves to be among the White Hart Lane side’s top earners and has just a year to run on his current deal, this has led to an increased interest in the former Ajax man.
Cultured performer Eriksen has been a regular provider of goals and assists throughout his time on North London and isn’t a player Mauricio Pochettino would want to see leave any time soon.
The allure of a move to Turin giants Juventus may prove great and if Eriksen doesn’t receive a new contract sharpish then he could theoretically leave on a free transfer next summer.
Tottenham signed Eriksen in an £11m deal back in the summer of 2013 and he has since racked up 30 goals in 134 appearances for the club.
