It’s safe to say that the feel good factor is back at Old Trafford.

Louis Van Gaal’s departure, blockbuster signings, and of course a new manager in Jose Mourinho, has made for quite a successful summer as far as United supporters are concerted.

It’s the appointment of Mourinho in particular that seems to have brought back the buzz around Manchester, a feeling that has been missing since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson.

The ‘Special One’ masterminded a comfortable opening game victory over Bournemouth, and is now set to lead United out at Old Trafford for the first time in the Premier League, when the Reds face Southampton on Friday evening.

It’s of course at home, where Mourinho feels most comfortable, with the Portuguese coach enjoying a stunning home record throughout his career.

Mourinho has coached 257 home league games where he won 206 times and only lost lost nine.

The 53-year-old lost only one of his first 168 home league games and still boasts a home win percentage in excess of 80 per cent, a phenomenal record over such a long period of time.

As Man United prepare to kick-off their Old Trafford Premier League campaign, United fans and Mourinho will be hoping for more of the same, as the Red Devils look to challenge for domestic glory this season.
