Joe Hart keen on joining Manchester City rivals
It probably wouldn’t be the best move for either party but reports suggest Joe Hart is keen on a move to Manchester United this summer.
It seems evident right now that United will be without David de Gea next season with Real Madrid upping their pursuit for the Spanish shot-stopper.
Hart, 29, shown the door at Manchester City by manager Pep Guardiola, is currently on loan at Serie A outfit Torino, making 32 league appearances thus far this season.
Italian media outlet Tuttosport report that Jose Mourinho wants to sign the England international for United as he seeks a replacement for De Gea.
However , United fans might feel ‘if Hart’s not good enough for City, what makes him good enough for us?’
They have point. Hart’s not had the greatest season being prone to errors at Torino, and has always found shots to his left difficult to deal with.
When you look at other goalkeepers throughout Europe – Handanovic, Oblak, Lloris – there’s over a handful or more with superior records than Hart, so why would United entertain talk of such a deal?
Hart reportedly wants a Premier League return to increase his chances of getting into the England squad for next year’s World Cup in Russia.
