Inter star gives green light over Manchester United transfer
Manchester United are confident of completing a deal to sign Inter’s Ivan Perisic after the player signalled his intent to move to Old Trafford, per the Manchester Evening News.
Perisic, 29, has been in fine form in Serie A this season, despite the Nerazzurri’s failure to reach the Champions League, which ultimately saw boss Stefano Pioli sacked.
The Croat would likely cost around £35million to sign, money Pioli’s replacement, Luciano Spalletti, could use to reinvigorate the squad.
United will be pushing for the Premier League title, and betting tips will suggest they are among the favourites already.
Jose Mourinho will use the club’s qualification for the Champions League as a way to persuade talent to join, despite the club’s disappointing sixth placed finish last season.
Perisic and Morata have both agreed to move to Manchester United, this is not in doubt. The clubs are still talking fees. Be patient #mufc— TFT (@TFTYouTube) June 15, 2017
Victory in the Europa League final over Ajax was huge, and Perisic could be joining Victor Lindelof at Old Trafford next season.
