Henrikh Mkhitaryan set for Manchester United medical: All you need to know about new Old Trafford signingPublished July 6, 2016
I’m not going to lie when I say I had to Google to correct spelling, never mind work on its pronunciation.
It’s been mooted a while now but things finally appear to be moving forward.
Borussia Dortmund all but confirmed last week that the Armenian playmaker would be joining Manchester United, and with Jose Mourinho keen to get business done early we’re hearing whispers of an arranged medical.
Manchester based photographer Craig Norwood believes Mkhitaryan is set for medical examination today, noting personal terms and a work permit should be a formality.

Reports suggest United will spend a substantial €42 million for Mkhitaryan, who is set to receive an €8 million signing on bonus.
This could also be the final nail in the coffin for Juan Mata with Everton allegedly sniffing around the Spaniard.
United manager Mourinho appears keen to sell the midfielder again with Mkhitaryan clearly a better fit for his new side being fast, hard-working and lethal on the counter-attack.
The 27-year-old is renowned for scoring, setting up goals and can play in a number of positions.
Meanwhile, this is shaping up to be another difficult summer for Dortmund, who cannot seem to hang on to any of their key players.
They may throw digs at Premier League clubs on social media but with players such as Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang hanging onto a thin piece of yellow thread, we wonder who will be the last ones laughing.
