Guess who's back? Jose Mourinho reveals shock inclusion for Bournemouth clash
Jose Mourinho reveals Luke Shaw will feature in Manchester United’s Premier League encounter against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Shaw has been frozen out of the first team this season because of doubts Mourinho has regarding the player.
It remains to be seen whether Shaw — like teammates Marcos Rojo and Henrikh Mkhitaryan — can prove Mourinho wrong a fight his way back into the United starting eleven.
Regardless of the amount of time Shaw is given on Saturday, the England international will be expected to impress if he wants to cement a spot in Mourinho’s plans at left back.
Shaw didn’t arrive at Old Trafford cheaply and he has only come back from a career threatening leg break. Who knows what the future can hold if he can get his head down and set the record straight?
For the better of Manchester United and the England national team, Shaw needs to work on his ability in order to blossom. No-one can doubt his attributes as a potential world beating left back.
Speaking to the press on Friday, Mourinho said:
“Luke Shaw is selected for tomorrow, so you won’t need to have the guys at the Lowry taking pictures of the players, to see which ones are on the list.”
You heard the boss, guys. No need for the photographers to gather around the Lowry to see whether Shaw is on the list.
