We at FreeBets, take a look at the standout players of gameweek three, and name our team of the week.
Goalkeeper: Artur Boruc (Bournemouth)
Made a brilliant penalty save from Crystal Palace’s Yohan Cabaye as he came close to his first clean sheet of the season.
Left-back: Brendan Galloway (West Bromwich Albion)
An impressive debut from the on loan Everton defender in an otherwise forgettable stalemate against Middlesbrough.
Centre-back: Curtis Davies (Hull City)
Heroic performance from the Hull captain. Unfortunate to be on the losing side after conceding a last minute sucker punch.
Centre-back: Wes Morgan (Leicester)
Was solid at the back, against a probing Swansea side, and took his goal superbly.
Right-back: Emilio Nsue (Middlesbrough)
Was a constant threat down the right hand side, and was defensively solid throughout the 90 minutes at the Hawthorns.
Centre midfield: N’Golo Kante (Chelsea)
The French enforcer covered every blade of grass at Stamford Bridge as the Blues convincingly beat Premier League new boys Burnley.
Centre midfield: Danny Drinkwater (Leicester)
Fresh off signing a new deal at the King Power, the England midfielder provided a superb assist for Jamie Vardy’s opening goal against Swansea.
Centre midfield: Mesut Ozil (Arsenal)
The German’s first appearance of the season ultimately led to a first Arsenal victory of the season, with the 27-year-old capping a brilliant performance with a well taken goal in first half injury time against Watford.
Left attack: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)
Reborn. The only way to describe Raheem Sterling’s showing so far this season. The England winger bagged a brace against West Ham, and looked a constant threat.
Right attack: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
The Chilean was in superb form against Watford, bagging a goal and an assist, as the Gunners looked back to their best.
Striker: Marcus Rashford (Man United)
Marked his first league appearance of the season in style with a crucial late winner at Hull to offer evidence of his predatory prowess.
