Fans from both Manchester City, and Man United, have taken to social media, after the FA revealed on Saturday, that Sergio Aguero will serve a three game suspension, for an alleged elbow on West Ham defender Winston Reid.

The incident took place during City’s 3-1 win over the Hammers at the Etihad last week, a controversial decision apparently missed by referee Andre Marriner, despite only being yards away from the incident.

The FA, decided to charge Aguero with violent conduct, after reviewing replays of the altercation, and whilst City tried to contest the decision, it was revealed last night that the ban will indeed be upheld, meaning the Argentine superstar misses the mouth-watering Manchester derby.

Whilst derby day often needs no extra spice, the first Premier League meeting, between rivals Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho has certainly added an element of excitement ahead of Saturday’s game.

But it seems as though City will need to find a way of getting a result without their prolific striker.

Can Guardiola work his magic once more? Or will the Special One, come out victorious?

We can’t wait for the weekend!

@DeadlyGiovinco @FA Nacho will do just fine. Don't worry, Pep will have a masterclass plan 😉

@stjohn121 @ManCityMEN @PJHE154 @MENSports who elbowed Reid, Fellaini? Separate issues. Fellaini no angel but Aguero threw it, deal with it.

With Aguero not playing we can afford to lose De Gea, Shaw, Bailly, Blind and Valencia.

We need to get over the aguero thing blues. We know there's an agenda. Pep needs to use it. "Us against the rest "

@SundaySupp Banning Aguero only serves to penalise other clubs. Ban should be against the team where the ban occured.
