Facebook strike deal to live stream football matches
For those of you who scout the internet each weekend looking for stream to watch football, Facebook have come to the rescue making matters easier.
To watch live sport nowadays — whether on television or by attending — comes at a high cost in the UK.
Even on FA Cup weekend, when BBC have the rights to games, those without BT Sport won’t be watching any live action today.
But unfortunately Facebook won’t be able to fix that just yet. The social media network, however, will be streaming Spanish football.
It kicked off last night when Facebook live streamed the game between Granada and Real Betis.
A statement on the deal, which will see Friday night games shown, said: “This is a commitment to innovation framed within the strategy of digital development of La Liga with the aim that all fans of Spanish football can enjoy it.”
You will be able to watch games on La Liga’s official Facebook page as well as GOL TV.
