Everton join race to sign Arsenal and Liverpool target BelottiPublished November 20, 2016
Everton are considering a bid to rival Arsenal and Liverpool for the signature of Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
A current Italy international, the 22-year-old has attracted admiring glances from across Europe after netting 10 times for the Granata in Serie A so far this season.
Reports in recent weeks have suggested that Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are eyeing Belotti with interest, however, Everton have also joined the race and are known monitoring the Italian’s progress.
Tuttomercatoweb claim that Toffees scouts attended Torino’s 2-0 win away at Crotone on Sunday to run the rule over Belotti and his fellow teammate Daniele Baselli, with the striker sure to have impressed the Everton representatives with a two-goal salvo in the 2-0 win.

Currently lying in seventh place and with aspirations of Europa League qualification, the Toros would be loath to lose their star man though, and are preparing an improved deal to keep him in Turin.
A €50 million release clause has been mooted as part of the deal in a bid to deter potential suitors, however, it remains to be seen if Belotti will commit his long-term future to the club.
Also scouted by Everton, 24-year-old midfielder Baselli has shone since his €6m move from Atalanta in July 2015.
On the fringes of the Azzurri squad, the highly-rated star has notched four goals and two assists in 13 games so far this campaign.
With Blues boss Ronald Koeman in search of January additions to his imbalanced squad, both players could be under consideration over the next few months.
