The last 16 is the first round of the Europa League in which there are no longer any seeded teams or country protection meaning teams from the same country can draw one another.

The only Premier League club remaining in the Europa League is Manchester United, who will face Russian outfit Rostov in the next round. This is the only European competition United have never won, as Jose Mourinho is looking to amend that statistic.

Roma, among the favourites to win the Europa League this season, must contest a tie with Ligue 1 giants Lyon.
