Whilst England fans are still yet to fully recover from seeing their side exit Euro 2016 in the most humiliating circumstances, it seems that the players themselves have been quick to forget about their dismal performances in France, and have been snapped, partying and relaxing on luxury holidays, before the start of the new season.

Spurs starlet Dele Alli, was pictured dancing topless  and looking extremely happy in Ibiza, days after the Three Lions were dumped out of the France showpiece by minnows Iceland, whilst Spurs and England teammate Kyle Walker, reportedly texted a Playboy model about how he ‘wished’ he was in Ibiza, just days before England’s first match against Russia.

It wasn’t just the Tottenham youngsters who seem to be making the most of England’s early exit from the competition, with England captain Wayne Rooney leaving his Euro 2016 shambles behind him, by jetting off to a luxury super-yacht in Spain, whilst midfield flop, Raheem Sterling sent fans into a rage on social media by posting Snapchat pictures of his new supercar, purchased after his horrific showing in France.

Whilst it is of course perfectly acceptable for footballers to be taking a break after a long hard season, the pictures of the highly paid footballers on a five-star holiday will do nothing to endear themselves to the British public, who are still raging over their side’s lacklustre showing and perceived lack of interest during the tournament.

Whilst long-term, England fans will be looking towards the FA’s plans to install the right successor for the departed Roy Hodgson, it seems that their immediate focus is to continue vilifying their under-performing players.

Judging by the comments on Twitter, England fans don’t seem to think that the players deserve the right to take luxury holidays, days after embarrassing the whole country.
