Cristiano Ronaldo will not be a Real Madrid player for much longer
The Portugal forward has reportedly agreed to stay for one more season in the famous white strip before he moves on from the club next summer.
This comes as reports suggest super agent Jorge Mendes has explained to him that he must remain at the club to heighten his chances of equalling Lionel Messi’s five Balon D’or’s later this year.
Teams linked with the global phenomenon are PSG and Manchester United, with interest also coming from Asia and the Chinese Super League but any move this summer could well upset his chances of Balon D’or glory at the end of the year.
Ronaldo might consider going back to play for Manchester United, even though they're hesitating - the idea makes me so hype & happy— Kosexy (@AlexisKostecki) June 29, 2017
So, for now the player will remain at the Bernabeu but his days could well be numbered unless his circumstances change before the end of next season.
Ronaldo has always bigged up a move back to Manchester United, with the dream of playing once again in the Premier League not so far from realisation.
The club were actually heavily linked with the player over the past month, with reports that Manchester United were actually lining up a mega-money move for the Galactico.
Now, it seems as though that is a pipe dream for this summer anyway, with the Red Devils possibly rethinking their transfer plans following next season’s conclusion.
Thus, Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Real Madrid could well be coming to an end, with the upcoming season possibly his last in the famous white strip.
