Chelsea target PSG's Salvatore Sirigu as Begovic replacement
Chelsea have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu as their hunt for back up to number one Thibaut Courtois continues, according to the Telegraph.
With Asmir Begovic seemingly set to join Bournemouth ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline, per Sky Sports, Blues boss Antonio Conte is looking for a replacement. A bid for Celtic stopper Craig Gordon has already been launched, per the report, but Sirigu now appears to be an alternative.
It could be tough to persuade some players to join in what will most likely be a bit-part role, but Italian Sirigu is already understudy to Kevin Trapp at PSG and Conte may see an opportunity to snare his fellow countryman.
Chelsea are flying high in the Premier League this season, currently seven points clear at the top of the table having lost just three games all year.

Following the scare involving Diego Costa, which could have seen the top scoring Spain striker make a move to the Chinese Super League weeks after midfielder Oscar was sold for £60million, everything now seems in place for Conte to lead another successful title charge at Stamford Bridge.
