Chelsea set to spend £170m to sign Arsenal & Real Madrid stars to form best strike-force in World Football
Chelsea are planning a complete overhaul of their strikeforce in the summer in the aftermath of completing their likely Premier League title success.
The Blues can win the title before rivals Tottenham, who are four points behind them in the table, next kick a ball after Mauricio Pochettino’s men lost at West Ham on Friday night. Boss Antonio Conte has enjoyed a hugely impressive debut season in England, which could end with a domestic double with the FA Cup final against Arsenal also on the horizon.

But the Italian is refusing to rest on his laurels and is plotting two big name transfers in the summer despite being linked with two of the biggest jobs in Europe. Inter are reportedly keen to lure him back to his homeland, while Barcelona could try to get him in as the departing Luis Enrique’s replacement.
With Eden Hazard constantly being linked with Real Madrid and Diego Costa still the subject of a huge bid from a Chinese Super League club, Chelsea are reacting early by targeting two attacking players. According to ESPN, Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is keen to make the switch across London amid speculation that he is growing frustrated with life at the Emirates Stadium.
The Chilean, 28, has just over a year remaining on his current contract and there are currently no talks over a renewal planned. Arsene Wenger remains confident the player will pen a new deal at the club despite not yet announcing his own future. His contract runs out at the end of the season and there is growing discontent among fans, who want to see the end of his 21-year historic reign.
Gareth Bale is perhaps a surprising name mentioned, but reports in Don Balon suggest he could be keen on a return to the Premier League with Chelsea. The Welshman has endured a mixed four-year spell at Real Madrid and could call time on his career in La Liga. Despite winning the Copa Del Rey and two Champions League titles, Bale has not always been too popular with a demanding fanbase and injury problems have not helped him this season.
Reports that Real are keen to sign Hazard could spell the end for Bale at the Santiago Bernabeu, and Chelsea will be desperate to ensure they have the best possible squad available for their return to the Champions League next season after one year of absence.
