Chelsea set for major summer shake up with their strikers
Chelsea are set for an insane summer shake-up, with Diego Costa set to leave the club, but two world class forwards are set to join the club.
Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku could be set to join the Blues in a huge double deal, with the Everton striker already claiming he’s ready to leave in the summer, and Chelsea readying themselves for a £65 million bid for their former forward, and Alvaro Morata set to also join from Real Madrid.
Chelsea fans might be slightly worried that Morata coming to Stamford Bridge could well mean that Thibaut Courtois goes in the opposite direction give Real Madrid have often been linked with the stopper in recent months.
David De Gea is thought to be Real Madrid’s first choice, but the fact of the matter is Manchester United want to offer the stopper another contract, and should he sign that, Los Blancos will have to look elsewhere.
With Keylor Navas looking increasingly shaky this season, Real are determined to get a world class keeper in come the summer, and should Chelsea need to sign Morata, a player trade plus cash could be on the cards.
Costa meanwhile has been looking to leave Chelsea on and off since he arrived in England, and given his relationship with Antonio Conte isn’t exactly great, it’s another strike against Costa in terms of a long term future at the club.
