It looks as thought the future of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is set to be resolved this week.
The Spanish maestro’s future at Stamford Bridge has been under intense scrutiny for quite some time now, with reports throughout the summer claiming that Blues boss Antonio Conte, is open to selling the former Barca star, in a bid to raise funds for additional recruits this summer.
Conte, has confirmed that he is desperate to add to his squad before the August 31 deadline, and it looks as now the Italian boss is willing to use Fabregas as a makeweight in completing one of his deals.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea have offered Fabregas to Inter Milan, in a bid to sign Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The reports goes on to suggest the offer arrived at the San Siro a few day ago, and Inter are thought to be considering it, despite sporting director Piero Ausilio’s declaration that Brozovic is set to stay with the Serie A club.
