Alvaro Morata has reached an agreement to join Chelsea from Real Madrid in the summer, per the Daily Express.

Morata, 24, worked with Blues boss Antonio Conte while at Juventus, and the Spaniard returned to Real after they activated a £32million buyout clause in his contract.

But his first team opportunities have been few and far between this season, despite a rare start and a brace in last weekend’s 4-0 win over Granada.

The Blues were reportedly keen to bring Morata to Stamford Bridge in a £70million deal last year, only for Los Blancos to steal in at the last minute.

But Morata is said to be growing frustrated with his situation at the Santiago Bernabeu and an agreement is in place for him to enjoy a reunion with Conte in West London.

Conte could be set to repeat the feat of fellow Italian Carlo Ancelotti by winning both the Premier League and FA Cup his first season.
