Chelsea join the race for wantaway Real Madrid superstar
Chelsea are looking to make a statement in the transfer market this summer and have now begun negotiations with a Real Madrid superstar.
The Stamford Bridge side are looking to sign Colombian playmaker James Rodriguez who is also a target for Manchester United and Inter Milan.
James has been linked with the London club in previous seasons but the player looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer, leading to a big list of clubs interested in securing his services ahead of next season.

Now, Antonio Conte and Chelsea are looking to beat rivals clubs to his signature after a title-winning season in the Premier League.
Spanish reports claim that the club is already in negotiations for the player and Real Madrid have given the player permission to speak with the club ahead of what could be a huge deal.
Chelsea never did replace Oscar following his move to China in the January window and reports state that the club actually tried to sign James Rodriguez in the mid-season window but were unable to seal a deal for the player.
Now, they could well get their man if reports are to be believed and the club are able to seal a deal with Real Madrid for his signature.
